Warranty for panoramic glazing “Lumyra”

 

The company New Time S.p.A. guarantees its Products pursuant to Articles 1490 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code, except as expressly provided in the following warranty conditions:

1. New Time S.p.A. undertakes to ensure that the Products sold are free from defects that render them unsuitable for their intended use or that significantly reduce their value;
2. As provided in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, it is the responsibility of the Client to immediately check the integrity of the packaging of the goods received and to report any visible defects and/or faults no later than 8 calendar days from receipt. Such communication must be made in writing to the email address provided by the Manufacturer, attaching photos and/or videos of the detected defects.
3. Except as provided above, before proceeding with the installation of the panoramic glazing at the end customer’s premises, it is the responsibility of the Client to verify all materials and, where applicable, report any defects within no later than 5 calendar days from discovery. This notification must also be made in writing with attached photos and/or videos of defects and/or faults.
4. In the event of late or missing notification of defects, the Client shall bear all costs related to the repair or replacement of the Products.
5. The warranty is excluded in the following cases:

1. defects attributable to third parties unrelated to New Time S.p.A.;
2. defects attributable to the Client and/or the carrier and/or the end user;
3. interventions on the Products not expressly authorized by the Manufacturer;
4. failure to comply with the Manufacturer’s instructions and/or user manual;
5. damage resulting from vandalism, theft, robbery, adverse weather conditions or other events not attributable to the Manufacturer;
6. components or materials subject to wear and tear;
7. defects attributable to the installation of the Products;
8. damage to glass panels due to nickel sulphide inclusions ((a phenomenon typical of tempered glass production that does not constitute a manufacturing defect);
9. once the Products have been installed, the warranty does not apply in cases of defects or faults attributable to the user, including, but not limited to, inadequate maintenance of the panoramic glass panels or improper and careless handling of the individual glass panels.

 

• VI. New Time S.p.A. also grants the following additional warranties:
  10 years for tempering defects, including “Roller Wave,” “Edge Lift,” Anisotropy, “Bow,” and “Haze,” as specified in the table below:

VII. In case of timely notification, New Time S.p.A. will proceed with repair and/or replacement within a reasonable time. Delivery costs shall be borne by the Client. In case of default, the remedies under Article 1492 of the Italian Civil Code shall apply.
